Because we will have secured a chunk of time with several personnel who will be counting on your job happening, we will will expect a deposit for your move. We understand plans change, so we don't want to take your money if you don't end up using our services, but the closer it is to move day, the more of an inconvenience and/or financial letdown it can end up being for all the parties involved.
We have settled on the following Cancellation/Rescheduling/Refunds Policy because we value the time of our employees/contractors, and hold in high regard our operations team for the hours they spend piecing together various logistics in the background of your move.
If you cancel more than a week before your scheduled move, we will refund your deposit in full, that is our promise [and our request] of you.
If you choose to cancel your service with Muscle Movers within 72 hours of your move, we will refund all but $100 of your deposit. Within 48 hours, we'll refund all but $200, and within 24 hrs we will refund either half the deposit or all but $250 (whichever is greater).
When rescheduling, if you give us more than 48 hours notice before your scheduled move, there is no fee. If you reschedule within 48 hours of your move, there is a $50 fee, and within 24 hrs, a $100 fee.
We will always consider extenuating circumstances and emergencies.
This policy is more to protect us from being taken advantage of by people who are thoughtless in considering how their actions affect others, along with those who carelessly decide not to inform us when they could have, or even the rare but real customer with nefarious intent or selfish disregard of others. Dont be any of those, and we should be fine.
